SPECTATOR TOUR

The Spectator Tour Package is designed to provide spectators a great time in Manta, while their loved ones get ready for the race.

 

In this tour, spectators combine some leisure time with bonding time with the athletes before IRONMAN 70.3 ECUADOR

 

We take care of all your domestic travel arrangements, provide private tours in the area and special services during the race, like special access to the VIP spectators area.

PACKAGE DETAILS

FRIDAY

As soon you arrive to Quito an airport representative will be waiting for you at your airplane gate; he will assist during the migration and customs procedures. After customs a representative of Link Experiences will be waiting for you at Quito’s airport in order to welcome and accompany you during the transfer from airport to hotel. Quito’s airport is located 40 minutes away from the main city. Day at leisure to rest. Accommodation Quito Meals included: Breakfast

SATURDAY

After breakfast, your local guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to visit the Middle of the World Monument (Monumento a la Mitad del Mundo), located at 0o0’0” latitude. Take a picture with your feet on both hemispheres before touring the Intiñan Museum, where you’ll see various demonstrations of gravity and balance manifested in the equatorial zone. This is a really fun and interactive museum. Enjoy lunch at the top of the Pululahua Crater After lunch, discover Quito’s beautiful Historic Center (Centro Histórico), named World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. Quito is a city rich in history, concealing the most fascinating legends, forbidden love stories, political insurrection plans, and much more. Learn about the different architecture styles in the Old Town, stroll through cobblestoned streets and meet artisans who’ve kept traditions alive for centuries. Take a private visit to La Compañia, San Francisco and Basilica churches and experience an exclusive tasting of the best chocolate in the world, Ecuadorian Chocolate! SUNDAY

After breakfast, a local guide will pick up you at the hotel in order to hit the road to the South of the Andes cordillera. If the weather allows it, you will be able to spot the Cotopaxi volcano. This is a beautiful snow capped formation, one of the tallest active volcanoes in the world. The scenery is beautiful, and during Humboldt’s scientific visits he called it the “Avenue of the Volcanoes.” You will visit the Cotopaxi National Park and walk around the Limpiopungo lagoon. If conditions allow it, climb to the Jose F. Rivas refuge, located at 4,800 meters. It is a 45 minute-hike from the parking lot. Enjoy lunch at a local Hacienda. Afternoon at leisure at the hacienda. Ask the concierge about additional activities. Accommodation: Cotopaxi Meals included: Breakfast, lunch

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Our cancellation charges for IRONMAN 70.3 Ecuador services will apply as follows:

  • Cancellations 120 days or more prior to departure: 50% of total price
  • Cancellations between 119 to 70 days prior to departure: 75% of total price
  • Cancellations 69 days or less prior to departure: 100% (full price)
