Indulge in a journey filled with delicious food and unique gastronomic experiences. Learn the secrets of Peruvian cuisine with local chefs. Visit local markets and learn more about the products used to prepare the amazing dishes of the Peruvian cuisine. Participate in the Chakras (Plots), the ancestral agricultural techniques, irrigation systems, the agricultural calendar and rotation of crops, which are still in used by the local communities. Don’t miss the experience of living Machu Picchu with a local private guide.

Day 1: Lima

Meals included: None
Transfer form airport to hotel
Accommodation: Hotel B – Chamber Junior Suite

Day 2: Lima

Meals included: Breakfast and lunch
Visit a local market with a local Peruvian chef and discover the wide variety of seasonal and local products
Head to the Urban Kitchen to cook and learn a couple Peruvian dishes
In the evening, a sommelier will guide you on how to pair the class Peruvian cocktail with different types of foods
Accommodation: Hotel B – Chamber Junior Suite

Day 3: Lima – Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Transfer to the colonial city of Cusco
Exploration of salt mines in Maras and Moray’s archaeological center
Traditional lunch at a local hacienda at the foothills of the Andes
The chef Nacho Solis and the sommelier Gino Pacheco will orchestrate a refined dinner with the best local ingredients at the exclusive The Cellar restaurant
Accommodation: Sol & Luna – Deluxe Casita
Important: Salt Mines of Maras does no operate during rainy season (Late November – Late April)

Day 4: Sacred Valley of the Incas – Macchu Picchu

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Transfer to the Quechua community of Huilloc to relive Incan customs. You will be able to participate in a day of Chakra (agriculture). You will be dressed as a community member; men will do some farming work, while women will help cook. It will end in a spiritual ritual with music and dance.
Train ride to Aguas Calientes
Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant
Accommodation: Sumaq Hotel – Superior Deluxe room

Day 5: Macchu Picchu

Meals included: Breakfast and lunch
Shuttle-bus ride to Macchu Picchu “The Lost City of the Incas” with your private guide. Discover the ancient and stunning Incan ruins, and learn more about the history of this magical place.
Lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge’s restaurant and further exploration of the citadel
Train back to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and transfer to Cusco city
Accommodation: Cusco, the Capital of the Inca Empire

Day 6: Cusco

Meals included: Breakfast and lunch
Visit the San Pedro Market with a local chef and discover the Pachamama’s gifts. Buy seasonal products, and then head to the organic garden of the Palacio Manco Capac Hotel. You will learn how to choose local vegetables and herbs. Once you’ve gathered all your ingredients you will be ready to start your private cooking lessons.
Back in Cusco, enjoy a tour of the Coricancha the “Temple of the Sun,” as well as the buildings on the Main Square.

Day 7: Cusco – Lima

Transfer flight to Lima airport in order to make your international connection
